MERGE Culture and Arts Magazine is my baby. For my Design & Concept class, I had to layout a magazine and design every aspect of it from start to finish. I first came up with the concept of having a magazine that was directed towards millenials around the world, to show how people my age in all of these different cultures are more similar than different. MERGE means to combine into a single entity, and the purpose of this magazine is to bring people together. This shows through with the masthead.

Mission Statement

A magazine that explores the commonalities with millennial cultures across the world. Experiences are born through perception. Just like in real life, your senses are how you experience the world around you and we bring that world to you through each of the five senses. Sight is art, sound is music, smell is travel, taste is food, and touch is fashion. Merging all these senses together create an in depth experience for our readers and help bring people together, because at the end of the day, we’re all the same.
